I was just reading one of my favourite blogs, My Love For You is a Stampede of Horses, and I found the work of Rachel Denny. I've been wanting to make an antler head sculpture for my home for a while now and I think these are fantastic...

Poketo is coming to Australia and I can't quite believe that there will exist a Poketo wallet with my artwork on it! I think over the last couple of years I have looked at their website a thousand and one times, as most of my favourite artists in the world have made Poketo wallets.

Here is a tiny little sneak peek at what the wallet will look like so start saving your pennies and come along to Robio at 73 Gertrude St Fitzroy on Friday 7th November. I have a feeling Poketo know how to have a good party so it should be lots of fun.

The Drawing Room pieces are done! I'm relieved that they are finished and also relieved that I am happy with them. I reworked two pieces from the Brunswick Bound show, tightened them up and gave them a bit more space. Now I am full of ideas for new work to go on with, however it may have to wait because... I'm going to LA! Woo hoo! Ev and I will be at the opening of the show which is super super exciting.

Another cool thing happened. The new Frankie magazine is out with a sheet of wrapping paper designed by me! Not just me either... you get three more beautiful sheets designed by Beci Orpin, Mel Stringer, and Jodee Knowles. You might like to race out and get it (I hope you can find it if you live in places other than Australia).

I love Frankie.

I got a very nice surprise in the post this morning, the latest issue of Notebook magazine with three of my images illustrating an article called 'Food and the Female Mind'.

circus museum...

I found another great site the other day called the Circus Museum, it is full of thousands of circus posters, photographs and prints. Well worth a look if you're into excellent drawings of tattooed dancing twins or albino midget magicians...

Now it's time to get busy and concentrate on my work for 'The Drawing Room' which will be at Thinkspace gallery in November. I'm glad I worked through all those pieces for the Brunswick Bound show because I feel like I'm in a good place to start this new work. Hopefully something to show soon...
