Incredible Surreal Paintings by Tetsuya Ishida
Tetsuya Ishida was an incredibly talented Japanese painter whose artworks were known for their dark portrayal of Japanese life. Just looking at his work makes you wonder how limitless his imagination could have been.

On the one hand, they’re very strange and surreal. On the other, they can be very literal ideas conceived visually.

The artist unfortunately died in 2005 after being hit by a train leaving behind around 180 works created during his 10 year art career, some of which are below.

From Toxel.com. Thanks Dave!
