Summit Vision
To enhance access to health information for research to support health system decisions that will improve the health of Canadians.
Summit Goal
To increase mutual understanding of the importance and benefits of health research resulting from improved access to and linkage of health information whilst respecting the privacy concerns of Canadians. The Summit will bring together national leaders from political, provider and patient groups as well as key researchers in health information from Canada and abroad to set the stage for developing a roadmap for change.
