“Lookingglass Alice,” is the splendid adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. “Lookingglass Alice” is turned into a marvelous, playful 100 minutes of almost circus performance arts.

The cast of five (it will seem as though there are 30 to 40 actors) is one of extraordinary e returned to the theater where the Red Queen (Jesse J. Perez) perched on a platform. He had remained there the entire time. The Red Queen could not make it through the doors and remained ready to resume. The audience reentered quickly and after thunderous applause for the theater staff and Mr. Perez, we continued our magical trip through the looking glass. p It was a charming and delightful theatrical experience for young and old. “Lookingglass Alice” will run at the Lookingglass Theatre inside Chicago’s historic Water Tower Water Works through August 31 with performances as follows: Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Thursdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. pbr p p“Lookingglass Alice” pWater Tower Water Works p812 N.
