My first thoughts on ET's (aliens) is that if life does exist in other places of our universe, the likelyhood would be low that they would have many of the same properties of humans, such as 2 arms, legs, eyes, 5 fingers and toes, etc... As I see it, there is even a chance that they would not be based on carbon like we are. Another thing that bothers me is that if they are intelligent enough for interstellar travel, it would be highly unlikely that they would come here themselves. Humans are now sending robots to other panets, why wouldnt the first signs of life from beyond not be some type of robot or gadget ? On defense of the aliens (and believers) we do not know that they are not, since we do not have a "body" or have not captured any of them yet.
