Description
Maps out all airfares for North America from a destination of one's own choosing; is more encompassing than Kayak Buzz though, lists all major US cities so one can get an idea how prices are.

checked it, provides quotes and names the carriers, but no real way to check if seats available any given day. but it has the sources ie the quoted fares were really low. just gives u an idea of what to expect and where to go next.

It shows you historical ticket prices. So that $400 ticket to Miami may seem like a pretty good deal. That is, until you find that the average for the past year has been $208. Given that, maybe you'll want to continue to look.

There are many sites that will help you book airline tickets. They all purport to have the best rates. But it seems that there's a new travel site popping up every week. It's hard to keep tabs on them. When people book tickets, they usually check a few of the bigger travel sites. Those sites can search a handful of other sites to pull up the best fare. That's great. But even the best fare you find may be too much. That's where FareCompare comes in. It shows you historical ticket prices. So that $400 ticket to Miami may seem like a pretty good deal. That is, until you find that the average for the past year has been $208. Given that, maybe you'll want to continue to look.
