66 Celebrities that Blog

October 8th, 2007

Think evil gossip mongers are the only ones blogging? Think again! Your favorite celebrities are also blogging. Many of them enjoy writing and it’s a great way to keep in touch with their fans. You’d be surprised at who has a MySpace or blogspot account lately. Keep in mind, some of these haven’t been updated for years, but they’re still a fun look inside the lack of brains of your favorite celebs. A bunch of them are disappointing though as their sole intention is to advertise a product or show.

It’s an interesting list, but I wonder how many celebrities write their own posts?

  2. Wendy on October 8, 2007 4:13 pm

    Here’s one to add: http://www.myspace.com/pambeesley

It’s written by Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam Beesley on The Office.

Also, love Zach Braff’s blog (I’m a huge Scrubs fan) — it was nice to see it listed here b/c he hasn’t posted in awhile, but finally has something new up. And, yes, he really does his own posts!

Many of the reality show judges and contestants on Bravo shows like Project Runway and Top Chef have their own blogs, and I’ve interviewed a few of them - they really do the writing themselves! BravoTV.com is the HQ website of Bravo and you can find a ton of celebrity blogs from there (not just the Kathy Griffin one on your list).

Great topic for a blog post! I can’t say I’d expect much from most of these folks, but it will be fun to spend some time looking thru these, and linking to those who are interesting. Wil’s blog has always been pretty interesting, when I’ve taken time to check it out.
