From Todd McHatton:
Hey, I've finally finished my CD "Grass Stained Twilight"!

Over the past couple of years I wrote and illustrated a book full of strange little poems, pictures, and songs - kind of in a Shel Silverstein meets the Beatles vein. On a dare from Andy over at waxy.org, I started recording and posting a new song every week. I ended up liking this new stuff so much that I went back to the book and added these new songs to it. Then, with the input I was getting from you, went back and re-did some of the music. I've learned a lot about mixing and mastering from your input. It's got the "sunshine pop" sound and is meant as an all ages affair. I hope my fellow Song Fighters like it. Your input has been invaluable. I'm having a great time here and look forward to many epic battles with all of you.

Go to my website and order the CD, it's $9.99. It comes with a booklet featuring some illustrations from the "Grass Stained Twilight" book and it's wrapped in a paper bag, an idea I got from Empty House Cooperative.

From Electric Needle Room:
Electric Needle Room has just released a new album called "Safe, Effective, and Fun." It features the hits "Love Is Not About Teeth" and "Here's What I Have to Say About Tomatoes." The two songs we made for Song Fight! did not make the cut, but that's okay because they didn't win anyway. The album is available through CD Baby or through Series Two Records. For more information you can check out our website or our myspace page.

From MC Frontalot:
The new record is Final Boss and has two song fight classics re-recorded. I’m on tour in support of it, through the south and back up the east coast, now through Dec 14th. Click for dates.

From State Shirt:
I've got a new album - This is Old

Featuring a couple SongFight songs (remixed and updated) as well as 8 new songs. I've been working on it for a long time and I hope my fellow SongFighters like it. Head on over to stateshirt.com and pre-order the CD, pay what you like (I'm asking $10). You get a nice 6-panel digipak CD, and a link to download all of the .MP3s once the album is officially released on November 11. I hope you like it! http://stateshirt.com

Oh, and there is a super-secret special State Shirt limited time offer for SongFighters, more info on the forums.
