Apply for NEA's Youth Leaders for Literacy Grants
Young people ages 21 and younger can apply for these grants, which help fund youth-led community literacy projects. Proposals should describe projects that begin March 2, 2009 (NEA's Read Across America Day) and end April 24-26, 2009 (Global Youth Service Days). Twenty grants of $500 each will be awarded. The deadline to submit a proposal is October 30. Meet last year's winners.
