Another limitation of "The Long Tail" in my eyes, is that all - ALL - the data exposed and analyzed in the book are from US firms, markets, and players, and all the examples (websites, newspapers, rock groups, blogs, television series, etc) he quotes are from the US as well. Anderson has fleeting mentions of Skype and Korea's OhMyNews and India's Rediff; and, yes, he devotes two pages to Lego, which was invented in Denmark (detail not mentioned in the book), but that's it for the book's global view.
